The Tips and Tricks I learned to manage my health, my wealth, and my well being
i.c.stars took a holistic approach to our learning and our well being. It wasn’t enough to them for us to learn what it was they were teaching us, it was also vital that we learned how to maintain our health in the process. Beyond just, “eat right,” or, “w that can fit with the vast wealth of foresight needed.

Financial Wellness
During our time, i.c.stars had a few people from The Country Club Bank provide us with financial advice, lessons, and teaching. One of the biggest tricks I found useful was using cash as a way to, “categorize my income,” converting it to gift-cards or pre-paid cards to use online if need be. Using this, I was able to set the goal of acquiring pieces needed for Pseudo’s Server 2.0 by the end of internship, and am currently on track to completing this goal successfully.

Of all the major things for me to work on, my Credit Score will be the biggest. Well before i.c.stars, I was not one to take money seriously. The concept of money as a relationship was something that was beyond foreign to me; it wasn’t even a concept. Thankfully I have both The Country Club Bank and fellow cohort members to help set me down the right path.

Emotional Wellness
Fun fact: being diagnosed at 3 years old with autism under the right parent gets you well accustomed to psychiatry, therapy, and coping mechanisms as a whole.
That doesn’t mean I don’t still have tricks up my sleeve. During our cycle I’ve had to exercise a level of patience I haven’t had to do in a long time, so even I had to recall what I had in my arsenal, such as stepping away from situations, or using music to set a tone.
At one point I had felt as though our team were way too far ahead with what AI and mentors had given us. It got to the point that I was drowning a little bit in the wealth of information. Talking with my support network allowed me a way to vent while still rising to the challenge, allowing me to swim that much faster.

Mental Wellness
With Mental Wellness being related to how you manage stress and remain focused, I find myself having been great with one half, terrible with the other before coming to i.c.stars. Growing up, I had no need to study due to how easy school was for me, to the point that I ended up struggling in high school grade wise because I didn’t know how to study.
That being said, during i.c.stars, I found myself falling close to a pomodoro style rhythm. Having specific on and off times was a bit strict for me, but I’ve managed to get in tune with my mental state due to 25 years of therapy under my belt, so I can tell when that lack of focus needs to be let go for a sec.
Studying itself is still a struggle for me. The need to sit still and read/work is a skill I have to relearn, but one I recognize and, while may have not had enough time with i.c.stars, will have plenty of with entrepreneurship.

Physical Wellness
Our Bodies are our temples. Without a solid foundation, all else goes wack. During i.c.stars, I found myself loosening the foundation in favor of convenience, not to a disservice of our teaching, but as a balancing act between work and my relationship with my fiancé.

Food and Consumption
With i.c.stars having concluded, there are a number of steps I plan to take with me into house husbandry and food preparation, preparation being the first.
Just before i.c.stars we found that, financially speaking, a whole chicken spread across a week was only about $10 max. Pair this with a mix of pre-determined meals that allow for a lack of need to calorie count, and we have our first half of physical wellness.
Weight and Loss
Mixing in standing while working at home and going for regular walks, while not inherently there for weight loss, will help build cardiovascular health by having the heart pump regularly, gradually bringing the body to a healthy state.
Once regular exercise has been achieved, the next goal will be to up the ante. Use weights to build muscle, balance macro-nutrients to focus on weight loss, and partake in community sessions such as martial arts to build discipline in the process.
